The rapid globalization and rapid rate of development have led to higher standards of living and this in turn has led to a massive growth in energy requirements and oil usage. Oil has been the most important source for meeting the growing energy requirements. It has also been the bone of contention for several human conflicts that have only brought more destruction and suffering.

As much as we would like to believe that the phenomenon of globalization has helped improve the standards of living, it has also brought with it the hunger for energy, and oil fits the bill perfectly as the most dominant source of energy. The reason being, along with a rapidly improving standard of living, we want access to all of the basic amenities in the world for ourselves and our families. Amenities such as water to drink, electricity for lights, good roads for transportation and definitely oil are no exception. But one thing that constantly escapes our collective memory is the fact that oil resources are non-renewable in nature, so once oil is used up, it cannot be replenished. So as our energy requirements keep on increasing day-by-day the oil resources are also depleting day by day. So the emphasis should be on developing alternative sources of energy that are not only clean and renewable but at the same time are also environmentally friendly.

Because of the above mentioned information it has become necessary to develop and encourage renewable and environment friendly technologies. To this effect we have heard about harnessing the tidal energy, the solar energy and not to forget, the abundant wind energy. With that said, there have been breakthroughs in the development of clean energy and the subject of concern is the usage of water for developing hydrogen-powered technologies for automobiles. Now one might wonder as to how water powered cars would run. The Fact is, 75% of the earth’s surface is water and a majority of that volume is sea water. As we know there is an abundant availability of sea water, the new technology that has been developed uses the power of water.

The book Water N2 Gas carries forward the concept of water powered cars and explains the process to run your car on water in a very simple manner. This basic info will enable you to be aware of the reliable energy alternative that can be used day-in day-out in our regular lives. A simple process as mentioned in the book goes, firstly, we should understand the chemical compound - water (H2O). Water consists of 2 hydrogen atoms as well as 1 oxygen atom. Some close compounds that are highly flammable are hydrogen (H2), Oxyhydrogen (HHO) et cetera. Upon research, it has been found that converting water into hydrogen as well as oxyhydrogen is actually very common in industries. However, this method is rarely being used in car. The process of converting water into hydrogen and oxygen is achieved by using the electricity in the car battery to make the water to undergo electrolysis and convert water into hydrogen or oxyhydrogen gas, which can be used as alternative fuel for cars. Then, some modifications are made on the car engine to divert to flammable gas and mix the gas with fuel or gasoline. Therefore, the flammable gas actually provides additional energy and act as an additional alternative fuel for cars. Indirectly, they are actually making hybrid cars that run on water. This process is very easy and can be done at a minimal cost of about $150. So in essence, we get to know about the development of water cars. Now considering the skyrocketing gasoline prices and the consequent environmental implications, $150 is a piece of cake.

Not only will this book help us in understanding the need to replace fossil fuel with alternative sources as the backbone of our daily energy needs but will also arm us with enough goodies to pay back Mother Nature her due because if not now, then when? If not us, then who?
